These cookies were so fun to make. I printed the batman logo and then traced the bat with an edible marker on to each individual cookie and then iced it. There were a few steps involved, but I love the precise look in the end. Freehanding this would have given me a headache! They are for a wonderful repeat customer. I did his bowling cookies last year!
Happy Birthday Gavin!

Yummy
I tried this easy chocolate cookie recipe today, since I was short on time but was having a strong cookie baking craving. Straight from Sugarbelle's latest post these are seriously easy, quick and delicious. Plus, I love the flavor resemblence to cupcakes. It could almost be a cupcake cookie. One thing I did notice is that if you overbake or underbake there is a big difference. My first batch was very moist and chewy and the second batch I cooked a couple minutes longer and it turned out very light, slightly crunchy. Delicious either way.

Valentines are coming!
I had MLK day off and was able to do some sketching and baking! I'm loving robots lately, so I made some robot valentines. I think they are almost too cute to eat! I found a lot of inspiration on Pinterest. Wow, does that site make it so much easier to find ideas, inspiration and be creative! So here is some valentines love, a few weeks early.
