Anna's First Birthday

My daughter turned one and I threw her a rainbow party at our house. Our house is small, and family big. We got lucky with a decent weather day, so we used outdoor and indoor spaces. I enjoyed creating all the colorful touches and the day was very special. 

I made the cake and bought the digital graphic on Etsy. Printed at Walgreens and glued to foam board. 

Desert table. 

Recycled baby food jars filled with m&ms, gum balls and skittles. Fruit loop bars, rainbow licorice, and some m&ms cookies.

Dipped pretzels too. 

Inside we had rainbow fruit trays and Pringles. 

Ryan had the basement ready for kids of all ages. Pinball and bowling. 

This is the garage. I made curtains with plastic table cloths.

Inspirational Cookies

I made these just for fun and just to brighten my day and anybody else's.  I was able to use my cookie paintbrush and play with some different techniques.  I was the 8 month pregnant lady buying a large bottle of vodka at the grocery store, just to mix with my food coloring gel!  I only needed an ounce or so, but the grocery store only had the big bottles.  Of, course.

Sixteenth Birthday

16 years old is a time to celebrate getting your driver's license!  Two best friends are lucky to share this milestone.

We had 4 snow days in a row this week, so Kate and I made chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow frosting. Simple and quick. 

I am not shipping cookies at this time. I receive a lot of inquiries about this. I wish I could, but I don't have the extra time that shipping and packaging cookies requires. Wedding Dresses and Cake

I do a lot of dresses and cakes and I don't always take pictures.  Which results in me forgetting what designs I like to do best.  There are endless possibilities with cakes and dresses.  I then google to get inspiration, which results in different designs almost every time

My niece and nephew turned 2 this past August.  I got to make cookies to match the nautical theme decorations.

I had fun taking my time and putting all the details into these ones.  It's cookies like these that really make me wish I had a Kopykake projector!  I had some inspiration from other cookie artists like Sugarbelle.
