National Cherry Festival

My favorite city is Traverse City!  I was lucky enough to live there for a couple years after college.  Of course, you do need to like winter because there is a lot of it.  Every season is beautiful there.  And the water takes on a caribbean blue when the sun is shining high.  My sister is the lucky one now, she moved up there a month ago.  I'm going up to stay with her for a week during the Cherry Festival.  I'm bringing these cookies to snack on.

I shall call them.....blossom to bowl.  Because that's as clever as I can get right now.

These ones are a thank you gift for a friend.

I'm loving this bowl of cherries!

  5. Wow, over from Sugarbelle's post and so happy to find another amazing cookie decorator! I LOVE, love, love the cherry blossoms and that little pie slice. And the houses on the previous post are adorable! Loved the tutorial you did for Sugarbelle too.
